A PEDESTRIAN died after being caught up in a head-on collision involving two vehicles and a parked van, police said.

Police have named the victim as 50-year-old Stephen White, of Markfield.

He died after being involved in the Fake Chanel Watches crash, which happened at about 6.20pm, on Tuesday, in Merryless Road, Bagworth. Mr White was confirmed dead at the scene.

Police say a white Ford Transit van and a purple Rover 216 collided head-on. It is still unclear which vehicle hit Mr White.

Detective Constable David Sharpe said: "The Transit was travelling from the direction of Botcheston and the Rover was going in the opposite direction when the collision happened.

"We would like anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw any of the vehicles and the pedestrian prior to the collision to contact us."
